The Cross section of the solid is the surface after the intersection of the solid by plane. The surface after the intersection is considered a cross-section. An intersection is made through the plane from the base of the solid. Cross section can be of two types horizontal and vertical. Students should do the cross-section of solid problems because these problems will help them to understand the area of intersected spaces and how to find it.
